Far beyond the road system, off of the tourist trail, just steps from the icy Bear Glacier Lagoon, this is Kenai Fjords lodging at its most wild.
The Iceberg Inn offers one of the most unique stays in Alaska — a remote, off-grid yurt accessible only by helicopter. Surrounded by floating icebergs, towering peaks, and complete solitude, this is a stay for travelers seeking true wilderness with comforts included.

"It's like waking up in a National Geographic photo spread. I've been on six continents and this is the most beautiful place on Earth."
— Guest, Kate B.

"One of the most magical experiences of my lifetime. Waking up to the stunning views of the mountains and glaciers is something I'll never forget."
— Christina Morris

"They've cultivated a peaceful oasis that sits on the shoreline of a breathtaking iceberg lagoon. If I could spend a good part of my summer out there, I would. I can't wait to photograph an elopement couple enjoying all the glamping luxury and peace that the Iceberg Inn has to offer."
— Sam Starns, Adventure Elopement Photographer

"From the helicopter, we swapped the skies for kayaks, gliding past icebergs ranging from golf-ball-sized chunks to towering structures as big as buildings. That paddle was hands-down the highlight of our trip."

Where Is The Iceberg Inn?
Seward, Alaska, sits at the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park, which is a hub for glacier cruises, wildlife tours, and kayaking adventures across the Kenai Peninsula. But Bear Glacier Lagoon sits well beyond the road system and far off the tourist trail. A lot of people visit Seward and never know this place exists. Now you do.
This is a map of Seward and the surrounding area. The dashed line represents the general flight path of the helicopter, and the star marks the location of The Iceberg Inn.
